Orientation-barcoded 96-well plates for the Vanquish Neo autosampler

The Vanquish Neo autosampler accepts 96-well plates with optional orientation barcoding (QR codes), which ensures the plate loads in the correct position when running an analytical sequence. Below you will find the part numbers for 96-well plates with barcodes, but we also provide instructions to add barcodes to existing 96-well plates that you may wish to use instead. You can also print and label plain well plates yourself instead of ordering pre-barcoded ones.

There are two barcodes per plate, which designate the orientation of the plate in the autosampler. ‘A’ designates standard, or front-facing orientation. ‘Z’ designates reverse orientation.

Place Barcode A in the lower-left corner of the plate when holding the plate with the A-row towards yourself. See below:

For convenience, we offer Word document templates for printing sheets of labels specific to ToughTag or Avery labels. The barcodes themselves are approximately 6mm x 6mm.
